Peggy Hall Bowman, 83, died unexpectedly October 8, 2022, at Lewis Gale Medical Hospital. She was born July 31, 1939, the daughter of the late Sherman and Christine Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bowman.
 
Peggy graduated from Franklin County High School in 1957. Following graduation Peggy worked at Ben Franklin Store. She later married the love of her life on February 18, 1976. She loved her life with Eugene. Together they bowled, made trips to the beach, and spent time with family. Peggy was a member of Antioch Church of the Brethren.
 
Peggy is survived by her brothers Don (Frances) Hall and John (Lou) Hall. Nephews Anthony (Hong) Hall, Zach (Renae) Hall; and great-nephew Brian (Misty) Hall. Brothers in law James Bowman, Hubert (Judy) Bowman. Sisters in law Elizabeth (Elwood) Oakes and Ruth Santopolo. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 
A special thank you to Liz, her faithful Friday companion and Monica Bowman, a loving caregiver.
 
Funeral services will be conducted from Antioch Church of the Brethren, 2996 Callaway Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. Pastor Andy Duffey will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Antioch Church of the Brethren Memorial Funds. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12 from 10-11 AM, Funeral to follow at 11 a.m. with graveside services after in the church cemetery.
