Peggy Sue Adkins

Peggy Sue Adkins, 87, of Bassett Virginia, passed away on Friday October 28,2022 at Mulberry Creek Assisted Living, in Martinsville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elva and Jennings Adkins, and sister Mary Nice (Rance). Peggy was a graduate of Green Cove Springs High School. She moved to Virginia in her early twenties, where she worked at Dupont for 35 years. She was an avid Gator Fan, and she loved the beach. She especially enjoyed making ceramics with her friends for her favorite holiday Christmas. She is survived by her nieces, Bonita Nice-Hood (Danny), Belinda Nice (Dell), two great nephews, Brandon Taylor (Carrie), Rance Hood (Allie), and a great-great nephew RJ. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Neil Pressley officiating. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service.
