Penny Haskins Allen

Penny Haskins Allen, age 62, of Callands, Virginia, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Born on November 17, 1962, in Franklin County, Penny was the daughter of the late Joy Craig Haskins and the late Billy Coleman Haskins. Penny grew up attending Museville Christian Church.

Penny found joy in being outside in the sun, the lake, and the beach. Due to declining health for many years, she wasn’t able to enjoy those activities.

She is survived by her daughters, April Haskins (Damon), and Ashley Rigney (Cody); her grandchildren that she absolutely adored, Savannah Rigney and Connor Rigney. Penny is also survived by her four brothers, Robert Haskins, Johnny Haskins, Michael Haskins, and Ronnie Haskins; one sister, Cathy Quinn, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express immense gratitude to Ricky Pruitt, for taking care of Penny in her health decline.

A Memorial Service honoring Ms. Allen will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Museville Christian Church with Pastor Roy Swanson officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
