Phillip Lynn Shelton

Phillip Lynn Shelton, 68, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, North Carolina. He was born October 12, 1954, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Elmer Carl Shelton and Ruth Hazelwood Shelton. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ridgeway and graduated from Drewry Mason High School. He had worked at Cardinal Ford and Tri City Ford and had been the owner of The Cake Pantry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Carl Shelton.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Stultz Shelton; sons, Christopher Lee Shelton and Michael Aaron Shelton (Teresa); sister Carla Ann Shelton; and grandchildren, Kyla Lindsey Shelton and Clara Grace Shelton.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 240 Commonwealth Blvd. W., Unit 602B, Martinsville, Virginia 24112, or Alzheimer’s Foundation, 308 Craighead Street, Danville, Virginia 24541.
