Phillip Wayne Vaughn

Phillip Wayne Vaughn, 51, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023, at his residence. He was born January 10, 1972 in Patrick County to the late Charlie Amos Vaughn and Christine Hagwood Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Vaughn, and grandparents, John Vaughn and Mary Alice Vaughn.He was self-employed as a handyman, and was a member of Mount Herman Church. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars, and he had a heart of gold.Phillip is survived by his sisters, Doris Casey (Willie), Jennifer Vaughn and Rose Vaughn; brothers, Steve, Herman, Kenny, Jerome and Herbert Vaughn.The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11:30 AM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service.Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
