Phyllis Reynolds Giles

Phyllis Reynolds Giles, 88, of Danville, VA passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2024, at SOVAH Health Danville. She was born March 27, 1935, in Danville to the late Eugene Reynolds and the late Velna Shelton Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Sydnor Reynolds.

Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and cooking.

She is survived by her sons, Danny Baker, and Donnie Baker (Susan); grandchildren, Melissa Cook (Sean), April Yates (Michael), Jordan Evans (Jimmy); great-grandchildren, Courtney Leggett (Bennett), Hannah Cook, Peyton Lawson, Courtland Yates, and Jagger Evans; and great-great-grandchildren, Collins Rebekah Leggett, Theron Bennett Leggett, Jr., John Alexander Leggett, and Lille Alice Leggett.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Danville Memorial Gardens, 510 Church Ave., Danville, VA 24541, with Pastor Daniel Custer and Paul Shelton officiating.
