Ralph Eugene Foley
Ralph Eugene Foley, 88, of Collinsville, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his home. He was born on June 30, 1937, in Collinsville, VA to the late Steve Foley and Wootsie Lee Joyce Foley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vinney Stewart Foley, sister, Mildred Hale; brother, Frank Foley and grandson, Jerry Dalton.
Mr. Foley was a devoted member of Stanleytown Amazing Grace Baptist Church, where he used to serve as a deacon. In his earlier years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, finding peace and fulfillment outdoors. In recent years, he discovered a passion for woodworking, where his natural talent truly shined. Ralph had a remarkable ability to transform simple, unused items into something both beautiful and meaningful for his family. He crafted many pieces for their homes, including a unique bird feeder designed to gently water the flowers below as birds splashed and bathed. A true family man, Ralph could often be found tending his garden or caring for his yard, but he treasured most the time spent with those he loved.
He is survived by his daughter, Geraldine Hylton (James); sister, Louise Branch; grandchildren, Debra Coleman (John), Donna Schenk (Steve Draper); great-grandchildren, Courtney Bennett (Jose) Padilla, Chris Bennett (Maddie), and Miriam Coleman Crowe (Aaron); and his great-great-grandson, Antonio Lee Bennett Pedir Padilla.
Norris Funeral Services, Inc. & Crematory is serving the Foley family.
