Ralph Josepheus Guthrie, 87, of Salem, VA passed away August 28, 2024, in Roanoke. Ralph was born on January 26, 1937, in Franklin County, to James Henry and Carrie Jane Guthrie. He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Charles Henry, Junior Arthur and Gene Elgen.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Ramona Huff Rigsbee Guthrie, his ex-wife and caretaker, Rachel Ann Ayers, one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Anne Guthrie, and one grandchild Hannah Guthrie.
The family will honor Ralph's request for no funeral services. He will be interred at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Roanoke, VA.
