Ralph Julian Hines

Ralph Julian Hines, 69, of Rustburg, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Born on April 30, 1955, in Lynchburg, VA, Ralph was the son of the late Ralph J. Hines Sr. and Mallie H. Hines.

Ralph met his soulmate and the love of his life, Becky, whom he married in 2011, and he dedicated his life to her.

Ralph was a member of Amazing Grace Ministries on Langhorne Rd. in Lynchburg, VA. He was a servant to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a quiet, humble man who was loving, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Becky M. Hines; two daughters, Alexandra Hanson (Matthew) and Katharine Hines; one grandchild, Maeve Hanson; his stepchildren, Elizabeth and Randy; two brothers, Jeff and Jamey; one sister, Loretta; his sister-in-law, Tina; and his brother-in-law, Gene Burnette. Ralph had a church family and many friends who held a special place in his heart, as well as his fur babies, especially Susie Q and Fluff, who loved him unconditionally. He will be deeply missed.

Becky invites all who knew Ralph to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Amazing Grace Ministries, with Pastor Don Webb officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
