Ralph Kermit Dehart

RALPH KERMIT DEHART, 80, of Bland, VA, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 at his home. He was born August 7, 1943 in Bland, VA, he son of the late Carl & “Dot” DeHart.

Ralph was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed elk hunting in Colorado. He was a wonderful cook. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Monroe & Dorotha (“Dot”) Ramsey DeHart, his daughter, Vicky, his brothers, Raymond DeHart, Richard DeHart, Robert DeHart and Roland DeHart and his sisters, Aileen Clark and Shirley Ratcliff.

Left to cherish his memory are his special friend and companion, Janet Weddle; his children, Kermit & his wife Erin and Robin; his grandchildren, Jason, Emily, Justin, Slade and Ryker; his special friends, Patrick & Sheri Sutphin, Jason & Michelle Clark, Joe Sims and Bobby Myers; and many special friends, neighbors and extended family members. 

Per Ralph’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no public services.
