Ralph Patterson

Ralph Winston Patterson, age 72, of Eagle Rock, Virginia died on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at his residence.
Ralph was born on January 22, 1953 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Presley “Pete” Patterson and Ruby Della Anderson Patterson. He worked in the mill room at the Parker Hannafin rubber plant in Iron Gate. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his dogs.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Lee Patterson, Sr. and a sister, Crystal Patterson Vess.
Ralph is survived by two sons, Chaswick Winston Patterson of Sharon, Clifton Forge and Cameron Boyd Patterson of Hollins; two grandchildren, McKinzie and Ethan; four brothers, Harold Eugene “Gene” Patterson, John Wayne Patterson, Presley Patterson (Ellen), and Gary Patterson; two sisters, Millie Duncan and Carolyn Ambrose (Freddie); a number of nieces and nephews; and companion, Andrea Huffman Sloan.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Pallbearers will be Jason Beard, Jim Duncan, David Jeffries, Tommy Hyler, Chaswick Patterson, and Chad Graham. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nicely Funeral Home.
