Randell "Doug" Ritch

Randell “Doug” Ritch, age 57, of Danville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side.

Mr. Ritch was born in Danville, Virginia on September 19, 1967, to the late Garnette Elaine Ritch and Randell Charles Ritch.

Randell “Doug” loved to fish with his buddies, was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan and worked side by side with his dad doing upholstery for 38 years. He was also passionate about buying/selling cars and always had his 4-legged companion Zeke by his side.

Mr. Ritch is survived by his wife, Tammy Ritch; daughter, Lauren Ritch (Devin Keller); sisters, Debra Carter (Rocky), and Susan Riggins (John); along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends that he held very close to him throughout the years.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Dennis Ritch, Exie-Lee Spicer, William Pyrtle, and Elsie Pyrtle.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, West End Chapel with Pastor Jody Pollard officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
