Ray B. Stowe

Ray Stowe, 88, of Martinsville died on June 9, 2023, at 3:40AM. He was born March 24, 1935 in Mayodan, N.C., to the late Joel Lester and Sarah Rilla Stowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Melvin and Tony Stowe, and sister, Florence Stowe Spencer.

Ray found joy in the little things. He loved to walk, often up to ten miles a day, and he would never turn down a good meal. He also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ray is survived by his sister, Jodene Harris. Also left to cherish his memory are his extended family and friends.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at Henry Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Don Reynolds presiding.
