Rayland Keith Elliott

Ryland Keith Elliott, 90, of Rustburg passed away Friday, November 29, 2024. He was the son of the late Perry Arthur Elliott and Marion Betterton Elliott.
Born September 1, 1934, Ryland will be fondly remembered for his deep love of his family, and being a father to his son. He was an avid sports fan, notably of baseball. Ryland did not have a favorite team but loved to watch the sport. He was someone who knew the value of hard work and providing for his family. Ryland will be forever remembered and missed.

In addition to his parents, Ryland was preceded in passing by his siblings Woodell “Woody” Elliott, John Elliott, Wayne Elliott and Charlotte Irby.

Those left to celebrate his memory include his wife of 65 years Shirley Elliott; his son Arthur Keith Elliott and his wife Dolly; his sister Ramona Lawrence and brother Travis Elliott and his wife Mary.

A visitation service will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel from 6-8pm. Whitten Timberlake Chapel is assisting the family.
