Raymond Wesley Harris, Jr., 72, of Axton, Virginia, passed away, Saturday, October 21, 2023. He was born May 4, 1952, in Virginia, to the late Raymond Wesley Harris, Sr. and Virginia Dillon Harris Smith.Raymond was of the Protestant faith. He was a dedicated employee and retired from PFG, located in Vinton, Virginia, with more than twenty years of service. Finding Raymond on the farm, working with the cattle, and playing with the dogs was not out of the ordinary. In his free time, you could find him fishing and reading. He was such a kind soul, a gentle giant.He is survived by his wife, Karen McMillan Harris; two daughters, Tonya Harris and Goldie Dillon (Aaron); two sisters, Ann Harris and Gaynell Harris (Diane); one brother, Walter Lee Harris (Sharon); granddaughter, Madeline Dillon; several nieces and nephews, and other extended family.All Services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
