Rebecca Tickle Turner

Rebecca Tickle Turner, age 58 of Danville, VA passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at her residence. Mrs. Turner was born May 27, 1965 in South Boston, VA to Charles Gardner Tickle and the late Peggy Betterton Tickle. She was married to Larry Turner.

She was a member of Spring Garden Community Church. She will always be remembered as a kindhearted and dedicated wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend to everyone who knew her. She relentlessly loved her family and will always be remembered for her compassion and loving care.

In addition to her beloved husband of the residence, and her father, she is also survived by her daughters, Sarah Turner, and Christen T. Gery; her granddaughter, Madilynne Gery, her sister, Hope Clay; her brother, Tony L. Tickle (Amy); and her mother-in-law, Ramona Turner.

In addition to her mother, she was also predeceased by her father-in-law, Walter Lawrence Turner, Sr.

A funeral service will be held Monday, February 19, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave, Danville, VA with Pastor Clark Crowder officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., also at Norris Funeral Service.

At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
