March 19, 1987 - February 11, 2023

On February 11, 2023 our beloved son, brother, father, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend went to be with the Lord and loved ones who preceded him in death, his dad Eddie Hodges, his Papa Hodge, his grandmother Maz, his aunt April Hodges, his Uncle Buddy Hodges, his cousin Josh Hodges to include a few. He is survived by his son Conor, his mom Debbie, his brother and sisters Starlena (Jason), Eric (Kathy), Joanna, several nieces and nephews Montana, Aaron, Alex, Cassidy, Christopher, Skyler, Savanna, Hayley (Robert), Aiyana, and Damian, his Nanny Hodge, aunts and uncles Archie Jr, Tommy (Margie), Bobbie Jo (Otis), Loretta (Tony), Janice (Johnny), and Sandi, many many cousins that he loved very much, and a few very special friends that he thought the world of. Rebel had a heart of gold. To know him was to love him. He would’ve done anything for anyone. He loved his family and friends more than anything. He always had a smile on his face and made everyone feel better with his goofy sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh. He loved his church family at Franklin Heights Church and the Bridging the Gap Program. Special thanks to everyone involved, for they made a big difference in Rebel and helped him find his way to Christ. He touched the hearts and lives of everyone he met. Funeral services will be conducted at Franklin Heights Church, 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2023. Interment will follow in the Hodges Family Cemetery (Tripple Creek Road). His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to assist with expenses and contact Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
