Regina Louise Easley

Regina Louise Easley, 71, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Sovah Health Martinsville. She was born on May 18, 1954, to the late Samuel Harris and Roxie Craig Easley.

In addition to her parents, Regina was preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie Craig, Samuel Easley, Early Easley, James Willie Easley, and Emmanuel Easley; and her sister, Mary Jean Norman.

Regina was a faithful member of Stone Memorial Christian Church. She was known for her warm spirit and joyful personality. Regina never met a stranger and had a special gift for making people laugh. She truly loved people and got along with everyone she met. One of her favorite pastimes was sitting on her porch and waving to passing cars, sharing kindness with all who passed by.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, William “Billy” Hairston (Susan); three grandchildren, William Hairston, Jr., Devin Hairston, and Priscilla Ramos; three great-grandchildren, Hendricks Hairston, Isabella Quinones, and Zoe Quinones; her brother, Carl Easley (Pacilla); her sister, Cynthia Woods (Claude); her niece and caretaker, LaKeisha Watkins (Tyrone); two special great-nieces, Tyisha Easley and Brittany Easley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will take place thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Christian View Baptist Church.
