Rhonda Douglas Turner

Rhonda Douglas Turner, age 65 of Troutville, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 3, 2023 at Lewis Gale Medical Center following a brief illness.

Rhonda was born in Roanoke October 5, 1957 and lived in Catawba for 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Kermit Douglas and Peggy J. Anders Douglas who survives.

Rhonda worked as a Claims Processor for 21 years for Carilion Health System but her biggest joys in her life were her children and grandchildren. Rhonda was a godly woman with a strong faith and attended Fincastle Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, Rhonda was preceded in death by brother, Gary Douglas. She is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Mike; daughters Erin Turner and Michele (Michael) Johnson, all of Roanoke; granddaughters: Lexi Turner of Troutville and Addasyn Auen of Roanoke; two nieces and four nephews; sisters-in-law: Renee Douglas, Kathy (Billy) Duvall, Brenda (Phillip) Burke, and Donna (Franz) Manthey; and mother-in-law, Kathleen Turner.

A celebration of Rhonda’s life will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 10 at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road Daleville with Pastor Ken Butterworth officiating. Burial will be at Haymakertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday.
