Rhonda was a 1972 graduate of Brookville High School, where she a proud "Bee." She went on to enjoy a career in indoor sales at Griffin Pipe, where she built many lasting friendships before her retirement, including her best friend, Carolyn Holofchak.

Rhonda had a deep love for reading that touched every part of her life. Her home was filled with books—mysteries, devotionals, novels, and histories—each one a window into a world she cherished. Her passion was so well known in the family that her son recently completed a custom library in her home to house her beloved collection, a gift that brought her immense joy.

Equally devoted to animals, Rhonda found comfort and delight in caring for her “fur baby” Gracie and feeding the wildlife that visited her yard each morning. Her gentle spirit and kind heart extended to all of God’s creatures.

Rhonda also found enjoyment in the world of Ham Radio and was a woman of deep faith, devoted to her church family at Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, Ronald Burch; her three children, Rusty Elliott (Bambi), Rianna Wilson (Jon Hager), and Joshua Burch; five grandchildren, Christopher Elliott, Ryan Elliott (Jessi), Matthew Elliott (Beckah), Kaitlyn Brady (Zack), and Atticus Wilson; one great-grandchild, Michael Elliott; her sister, Brenda Oliver; her brother, Gary Viar (Rita); her sister-in-law, Pam Viar; and her faithful companion, Gracie.

A service celebrating Rhonda’s life and faith will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2025, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Falwell officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Joyce Meyer Ministries at www.joycemeyer.org or Samaritan’s Purse at www.samaritanspurse.org, two organizations that reflected her heart for helping others.

Rhonda always saw the good in everything, she had a positive outlook on line and will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering love for her family, her deep faith, her sense of humor and the quiet joy she found in the pages of a good book and the presence of her four-legged friends.
