Richard Crawford

Richard Ray “Rick” Crawford, age 66, of 104 Walton Lane, Clifton Forge, Virginia died on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Rick was born on March 15, 1959 in Winchester, Virginia to the late Carroll Ray Crawford and Mary Lou Hoover Crawford. He graduated from Clifton Forge High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was a park ranger for Douthat State Park and a member of the Clifton Forge Moose Lodge. He enjoyed antique car shows, gardening, wine making, and spending time in the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Wanda Reel Crawford.
He is survived by a son, Patrick Crawford of Covington; a sister, Mary Jane Kanode (Roy) of Salem; a brother, David Crawford (Kathy) of Richmond; a granddaughter, Mayah Crawford; a number of nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Deneen Haynes.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
