As a loving husband to his wife Sue, their 28 years of marriage were a testament to true partnership and enduring love. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, warmth, and cherished memories such him filling the house with the sounds of delightful gospel music with his guitar. Richard had a deep and abiding live for his faith, which he expressed through his devotion to his church community at Childress Church of God in Riner, VA. Attending services was one of his greatest joys, as he found comfort, strength, and purpose in worship and fellowship. Whether singing hymns or sitting in quiet prayer, his faith was the foundation of his life.
