Richard Lee Hodge

Richard Lee Hodge, age 68, of Blacksburg died, Monday, April 7, 2025. He was born in Montgomery County, VA on December 2, 1956. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Lee (Tooter) Hodge. Richard owned and operated Hardie’s Garage in Blacksburg for many years with his father. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his sons, Justin Lee (Lisa) Hodge and Adam Richard Hodge; grandchildren, Madison, McKenzi, Cody, Adam, Aden, and Silas; great-grandchild, Cohen; mother, Dorothy Hodge; sister, Jewell Moore; special niece, Beth Barnett; great-nephews, Carson, Cole, and Caydon. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Hodge and Pastor John Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. before the service.
