Richard Paul Foster, 62, of Elliston passed away on February 19, 2023.
A native of Virginia he was the son of William Delville Foster and Sylvia Johnson Foster, both deceased. Richard was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved his pets, the outdoors and hiking, and especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Samantha, Joshua, and Ryan; his longtime girlfriend, Tina; three grandchildren, Alexander, Ellie, and Samuel; and many other loved ones.
The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. A private service will also be held at a later date.
