Richard Paul King

Richard Paul King, age 83, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026. He was born on July 31, 1942, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late John King and Gertrude Runge King. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Smith.

Mr. King is survived by his daughter, Amanda Irving (Brandon Keatts); son, Nathaniel King (Elizabeth); brothers, John King and Edward King; and grandchildren, Ciara, Benjamin, Devon, Owen, Tristan, Briella, Ava, and Silas.

A memorial service for Mr. King will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Norris Funeral Services in Martinsville, Virginia, with Pastor David Deisher officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
