Rickie Dale Lee

Rickie Dale Lee, 70, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born November 19, 1952, in Savannah Tennessee, to the late H.B. Lee, Jr. and Bessie Brown Lee.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Robin McCranie.He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and was a radioman on the John F Kennedy Aircraft carrier during the Vietnam Era. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and working on cars.Rickie is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Lee; daughter, Chonda Shupe (Rev. Ronnie); son, James Lee; brother, Eddie Lee (Beth); grandchildren, Thomas Lee, Christa Grubb (Cain), Ciara Johnson (Darrick), Cooper Shupe, Ahna Shupe, and Uziah Shupe; great grandchild, Darrick “Trey” Johnson, III; numerous nieces and nephews, and his fur baby and companion, Jack.The graveside service will be Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC, 28144.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
