Ricky Lee Shinault

Mr. Ricky Lee Shinault, 65, of Mt. Airy entered heaven on Friday, December 15, 2023, from the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Surry County on December 16, 1957, to the late Clifton and Dorothy Dollyhigh Shinault. Mr. Shinault was a dedicated employee at Mt. Airy Oil Company for 40 years of employment and was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Ararat, NC. Ricky was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Cindy Curtis Shinault; a daughter and son-in-law, Meredith and Chase Dickens; a son, Matthew Shinault; a grandchild, Reagan Adam Dickens brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Sue Shinault; Tony and Pam Shinault; nieces, Brooke Shinault Sheets, and Tabatha Shinault Cheney. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Ararat, NC with the Rev. Josh Sechrist officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017. Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
