Rita Faye Oakley

As of Saturday, February 8, 2025, Ms. Rita Faye Oakley (64) will forever be strolling over heaven hand ‘n’ hand with her Jesus, little girl, Mama and Daddy, and brother. She was born on December 3, 1960, to the late Opal McHone and Ronald Oakley. In addition to her parents, Ms. Oakley was proceeded in death by a daughter, Christy Oakley, and brother, Roger Oakley. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Misty Oakley; sisters, Glenda Williams (Ricky), Denise Jarrell (Tim), and Lisa Oakley; brother, Jeff Oakley; an abundance of nieces and nephews; three half-sisters; and one half-brother. Ms. Oakley will be laid to rest Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2 PM at a small family graveside service at the Community Church Cemetery in Mount Airy, NC with Pastor Randy Edwards officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lisa Oakley, to assist with the expenses associated with Ritas’ passing.
