Robert "Bobby" Wilson Hylton

Robert “Bobby” Hylton, 86, of Roanoke County, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 5, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sammyella Hylton; daughter, Robin Mills (Spencer); brothers, William Hylton, John Hylton, and James Hylton; and sisters, Mary Hylton and Christine Hylton.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Hylton; daughter, Michelle Stover (James); grandchildren, Jamie Mills (Whitney), Jody Mills, Brandon Stover, and Jacob Stover (Jasmine); step grandchildren, Chloe Akers, Hannah Akers, Aiden Akers, Bella Akers, and Olivia Akers; caregiver, Peggy Akers; great grandchildren, Wyatt Mills and Emma Mills; sister, Isabelle Pittman (and her daughter Melinda Chisom (Danny) and her son Cecil Meredith); and half brother, Melvin Hylton.

Bobby was a farmer who loved animals and carefully raised them. He was a Conductor with Norfolk Southern Railroad. He adored his two dogs, Shorty and Abby.
