Robert Glyn Bryant
Robert Glyn Bryant, 76, of Madison Heights, Virginia passed away on April 3, 2026. Robert was born in Charlotte, NC on December 15, 1949 to the late Bobby Roscoe Bryant and Frances Louise Lloyd Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his stepson, Charles L. Hart, and one brother.
Robert was a man of many talents. He tried his hand at many different professions throughout his life. He worked for Coca Cola of Lynchburg as a service manager, worked for Cloudcroft Quarter Horse Farm as a Stallion Manager. He worked for Bartlett Tree Service where they all referred to him as “Cowboy”. He was a founding member of the first Cowboy Fast Draw Club on the East Coast. He was a professional bull rider and rode for the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association. He was incredibly proud to have started the RG Bryant Monacan Scholarship Fund in which he ran an auction to help Monacan Indian children for more than 25 years which still helps children to this day.
Robert is survived by the love of his life, Rebecca Floyd Bryant. He also leaves behind his two sons, Cody Lambert Bryant (Amber) and R. Joshua Bryant. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Killian Rivers Bryant and Zane Odin Bryant. In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren he is also survived by three sisters, one brother, his cousin Diana, and many numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A service is scheduled to take place at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne Martin officiating. Check back for service date and time. Driskill Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
