Robin Gail Williams
ROBIN GAIL WILLIAMS passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Friday February 13,2026 in the care of Lewis Gale Salem ICU team. She is leaving behind a legacy of hard work, compassion, and unmatched devotion to both people and animals. She was a woman whose life was defined not by grand gestures, but by daily acts of service, loyalty, and love.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Robert, and Lucille Williams; her beloved sister, Pamela “Pammy” Williams; and the love her of life her son Dylan Hartwell Hundley, her ex-husband but best friend, Keith Hundley. We take comfort in knowing they welcomed her home with open arms Friday morning.
She is survived by her favorite devoted brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery N. Williams (Cuz) and Merinda; her loving special niece, Leslie W. Simpkins (Roger); her nephew, Jonathan N. Williams; her special great-nieces, Ella Williams and Jolene Williams; and her special nephews, Nicholas Simpkins, Nate Simpkins, and Caleb Williams. She was the proudest aunt. She was deeply loved and faithfully cared for by her fiancé, Alfred “AC” Caudle, whose steady presence, and devotion meant the world to her. She held close care to always being a wonderful friend to Gerry and Carlotta Clark, and the nightly hour chat with Kathy Suroski.
For 25 plus dedicated years, Robin faithfully served at Eastern Elementary School with Giles County Public Schools, working in the cafeteria where she ensured every child felt cared for, welcomed, and fed with both food and kindness. To generations of students, she was more than a cafeteria worker — she was a steady smile, a listening ear, and a reminder that someone cared. Even beyond her full-time work, Robin ran a small cleaning business, further reflecting her tireless work ethic and commitment to doing things well.
Hard work was simply who she was. Robin was always cleaning, organizing, or making sure her yard was immaculate — often found proudly riding her John Deere, keeping everything right. She believed in taking care of what she had, and she did so with pride.
Robin was also a passionate animal advocate who treated her pets as her children. Tiffany, Cricket, George, Molly, and Meow Meow and Scooter were not just animals — they were family. Her heart for animals reflected her gentle, nurturing spirit and her belief that love should extend to every living thing.
Most content at home or sitting on the 40-yard line with the 40- yard line crew with Terry Freemen, Sharon and Mae Wilson, and Billy on Friday nights, Robin was a devoted Spartan football fan for over 30 years. When the Spartans played, everything else could wait. Her loyalty and enthusiasm were unmatched.
Above all, Robin was a wonderful neighbor and faithful friend to the Fairview street and curve road society. She showed up. She helped. She loved deeply. She worked hard. She lived with purpose — advocating for animals, cherishing her family, and building meaningful friendships along the way.
Her legacy is one of dedication, compassion, and steadfast love. She will be remembered as a hard worker, a great neighbor, a fierce advocate for animals, and a loving aunt whose presence made life brighter for so many.
She went “Home” where she said she always needed to be.
Per her wishes,, she will be cremated. No public services are planned at this time.
In Lieu of flowers, please honor her memory by donating to the Giles County Animal Shelter, or the Giles High School Athletic boosters.
