Robin Palmer Lindsay

Robin Palmer Lindsay, 64, of Longdale, died Sunday, January 11, 2026 at her residence.

She was born March 15, 1961, in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Samuel Palmer and Emma Perkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul A. Nicely; her second husband, Bobby Lindsay; and her beloved miniature Mountain Feist, Rusty.

Robin worked for more than 15 years as a line operator at the former Bacova Guild in Low Moor. In her spare time, she loved visiting with friends and family and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Virginia Tech Hokies.

Survivors include her son, Clark (Kayla Fauber) Palmer of Longdale; one grandchild, Jordan McNeil of Fairfield; one brother, Samuel “Denny” Palmer (Missy) of Morgantown, KY; two sisters, Sheila Leslie of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Drucilla (Clark) Shrewsbury of Troutville; numerous nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Jane Nicely of Buena Vista; two brothers-in-law, Dale Nicely of Goshen and Brandon Nicely of Longdale; and many special friends and extended family.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
