Rodger Scott

Rodger Lee Scott, 82, of Ridgeway, Va. passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023. He was born in Pax, West Virginia February 23, 1941 to John Daniel Scott and Ruby Coleman Scott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Alvin Scott; sister, Joyce Pulliam and stepson, Christopher Minter.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Scott; children, Phillip Scott, Stephanie Henderson (Eddie) and Jonathan Scott; stepchildren, Mark Minter (Deborah) and Kathy Smith; sister, Shelby Pace.

Rodger retired from the Army National Guard. He had over 30 years of combined service with the Army and National Guard.

He was a member of Ridgeway, Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home Chapel with military honors. Interment will be private.
