Roger Dean Bandy, 81, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Frances Bandy.
Roger “Dean” is survived by his wife of 57 years, Arbelia “Bea” Bandy; daughters, Tina Fields (A.J.), Lisa Casey Gutshall (Scott), Beth Lawrence (Tommy), and Renee Bandy (Brad Lackey); and grandchildren, Nathan, Jeremy, Sean, Joshua, Roger, Lana, and Arlen.
The family will receive visitors at Simpson Funeral Home (Peters Creek) on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00pm. The Chapel Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 11:00am at Simpson FH (Peters Creek). Internment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
