Roger Lee Reeves

Mr. Roger Lee Reeves, age 79 of Pilot Mountain, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Reeves was born on December 4, 1946, in Surry County to the late William Otto and Thelma Marsh Reeves. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Mr. Reeves will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving is his wife, Nellie Snow Reeves; a daughter, Charlotte Leigh Reeves; a son, Roger A Reeves; four grandchildren, Jonathan Reeves Bolin, Kaylee Renee Reeves, Austin Roger Reeves, Kelsie Leigh Reeves; a sister and brother-in-law, Glenda Reeves Key and Larry; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Thomas Reeves and Ginny; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elle Reeves Gentry; and a brother, William Edward Reeves. Mr. Reeves’ body will be interred as part of a private graveside service in the Reeves Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
