Roger Thomas Burnette

Roger Thomas Burnette, 76, of Axton, Virginia passed away Monday, March 20, 2023, at his home. He was born September 30, 1946, in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Thomas Jefferson Burnette, Jr. and Edna Mabry Burnette Young. He enjoyed playing music, especially the guitar and harmonica, was a Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed riding down the highway.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Jefferson Burnette, IV.

Roger is survived by daughters, Michelle Darlene Burnette and Britney Dale Burnette Riley; sons, Rodger Thomas Burnette, Anthony Thomas Burnette, William Thomas Burnette and Robert Thomas Burnette; sister, Marianna Davenport; brothers, Bobby Dean Bray and David Bray; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
