Ronald J. Wilson

Ronald J. Wilson, 57, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 23, 2026. Ronald was born in Danville, VA on May 1, 1968.

Ronald spend 30 years in the custom exhaust and small engine repair business. He worked for Crane Tire and Cooks Towing and Muffler as an exhaust specialist previous to his retirement. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed cruising with family and friends. He loved his four legged babies Leonidas, Tessler, and all German Shepherds that preceded. He had a soft spot for BB Guns and Gunsmoke in the afternoon.

Left behind to cherish his memory, is his loving wife of 33 years; Katherine C. Wilson; Godsons; Harley, Brice, Brock Tucker and Scott Loftis; three grandbabies; Reagan Tucker, Savannah Tucker, and Grayson Loftis; In Laws; Frank (Mieke) Chaney of Holland, Kris Ann, William Chaney (Kimberly) of MA, Karen Cunningham of ME, Janice Pratt (Robert) of NC, and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother; Patsy Russell Wilson; Grandmother; Louise Russell; sister; Lisa Russell; and brother in law Donald.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 4:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Joey Bray officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 3-4:00pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times the family will receive friends and family at the residence.
