Ronald "Ronnie" Steven Scott

Ronald “Ronnie” Steven Scott, 64, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born February 8, 1961, in Eden, North Carolina, to the late Alfred Eugene Scott and Agnes Ann Hundley Scott.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Pulliam; brothers, Tommy Scott, Johnny Scott, Robert Scott, and Gary Scott.

Ronald was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, working on lawnmowers, and cutting wood. He was a hard worker who spent many years in the tree cutting business. But, whatever he was doing, one could usually find him listening to the radio. His kind disposition and laughter will always be remembered by those who enjoyed his friendly banter; he loved telling jokes and making people laugh.

His memory lives on with his daughter, Tiffany Scott; son, Michael Scott; sister, Sally LaPrade (William); brother, Glen Scott (Donna); four grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Scott’s Family Cemetery located at 3863 Morgan Ford Road in Ridgeway, Virginia, with Pastor Neil Pressley officiating.
