Ronnie Gray Bowman

Mr. Ronnie Gray Bowman, age 79 of Mount Airy, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Central Continuing Care surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Bowman was born on March 16, 1946, in Surry County to the late James and Carrie Durham Bowman. Ronnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Nancy Wagoner Bowman; sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew Bowman and wife Kim, Todd Bowman and fiancée Pam Glastetter; three grandchildren, Jenna Stoneman and husband Thomas, Morgan Bowman, Peyton Bowman and fiancée, Kyla Gunter; two great-grandchildren, Addilyn Stoneman, Casen Stoneman; sister, Phyllis Bowman; along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to this parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by a sister, Merle Bowman Lambert. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Airy with Dr. Brian Chilton and Reverend Drake Phillips officiating. Interment will follow Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
