Ronnie Lee Campbell, age 73 of Hardy died Wednesday, February 8, 2023. He was born May 3, 1949 a son of the late William Howard Campbell and Queenelle Wray Campbell. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Walter (Boat) Campbell and William Earl Campbell; sisters, Georgia Hodges and Norma Gene Morris. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Pamela Ann Campbell; sons, Ronald (Chasity) Campbell and Lance (Andrea) Ferguson; grandson, Dakota Keith Campbell; brother, Harold (Fern) Campbell and sister, Emily Sue (Winford) Hodges. He also loved by many nieces and nephews. Ronnie accepted Christ, was baptized and was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a professional truck driver for 40 years traveling across the United States and Canada. He was a devoted husband and loved by many. The family would like to thank the Salem Veteran Affairs Medical Center for all of their care and concern. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 11 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2023 with Rev. David Burgess officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park with military honors. His family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Ronald and Chasity Campbell, 688 Golden View Road, Glade Hill, VA 24092.
