Ronnie Lee "Clarkbar" Clark

Ronnie Lee Clark, “Clarkbar”, 63, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. He was born June 6, 1959, in Winterhaven, Florida, to the late Clarence Swetlin Clark, Jr. and Frieda Louise Hill Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence S. Clark, Sr. and Lizzie C. Clark, and Harry “Jack” Hill and Ellen C. Hill.

He was of the Baptist Faith, and enjoyed NASCAR racing, horse racing (especially the Kentucky Derby, music, the mountains, the beach, and watching basketball.

Ronnie is survived by his brother, Rickey Dennis Clark; sisters, Sharon Clark Gilbert and Frieda “Diane” Clark Caudill; nieces, Tonya Ratcliff and Amber Davis; nephews, Dennis Keith Clark, Russell T. Gilbert, Ashley E. Gilbert, Quinton N. Gilbert, and Travis Lee Davis; aunt, Shirley C. DeLano; uncles, Harold “Pee Wee” Clark and Billy Clark; and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023, 6:30 - 7:30 pm at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 3907, Martinsville, VA 24112.
