Ronnie Lee Janney
Ronnie Lee Janney, age 74, of Boones Mill, Virginia went home to be with his Heavenly Father on September 12, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Roy and Grace Janney, his father and mother Coy and Peggy Janney, a brother Coy Janney Jr.Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Janney, of 54 years; Daughter and Son-in-law Rhonda and Kenneth McFalls; Grandson and wife Sammy and Amanda McFalls; Granddaughter Katie McFalls; Great-grandchildren Addy and Simon McFalls; Sister Linda Janney.Also surviving are his brother and sisters-in-law, Ellen Janney, Larry Hartman, Betty Durham, Mary and Barry Walker, Ronnie and Kathy Hartman, Rachel Hartman. He had many nieces and nephews.Ronnie was a general contractor most of his life. During his career he met a lot of wonderful people whom he considered his family. He was a mentor to all he came in contact with witnessing to them about Jesus Christ and what the Lord had done in his life. He loved the Lord Jesus and all credit for his life he gave it Jesus Christ.He was a member of Clearbrook Baptist Church. As a former member of Boones Mill Baptist Church he served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher and many other areas in the church. He taught Sunday School for 27 years and never missed a Sunday during those 27 years.A big thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice, Amber, Karen, Chelsea and Cindy, for their love and support during this past year. A big thanks to Anthony for his support with all the equipment needed.A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Clearbrook Baptist Church with Dr. Bryan W. Ratliff and Pastor James H. Steele officiating.
