Ronnie Mack Hilton
Dr. Ronnie Mack Hilton, 85, of Radford, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Earl and Bureda Franks Hilton, and his brother, Bobby Dean Hilton.
Survivors include his wife, Kylene Hilton; children, Robin Renee Hilton, and Kyle Edward Hilton (Tisha); siblings, Nancy Gibson, and Dr. John Hilton (Martha); and many other relatives and special friends.
Mack was a man of many interests and talents. As a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia’s School of Dentistry, he practiced dentistry for 47 years, first in the United States Air Force and then in private practice in Radford, Virgina. His partners and the staff were family to him.
Mack appreciated music his entire life. He was a member of his high school and college bands, the Blacksburg Community Band and both sang and directed church choirs along with his wife Kylene.
Mack loved to travel and during that time began his love of photography. He was self-taught and won awards for some of his photos. He also loved to garden and took it to extremes for the ten plus years on their farm in Snowville, VA where they raised cattle, crops and made lifelong friends.
The family would like to thank all the home caregivers that took part in taking care of Mack during his illness; Jessica Brein, Nicholas White, Cindy Beckner, Christina Day, Debbie Moore, Carla Graham and Violet Davis. They would also like to thank the wonderful nurses, aides and staff from ACG Hospice, AmeriCare Plus, and Radford Health and Rehab Center.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Presbyterian Church of Radford with Reverend Morgan Whitfield officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Presbyterian Church of Radford or the Community Health Center of the New River Valley.
