Rosalyn Brown

Rosalyn Louise Smith Brown, age 74, of N. Alleghany Ave, Covington, Virginia died Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center, Low Moor.

She was born February 2, 1952 in Covington, Virginia to the late Everette Conner Smith and Louise Webb Smith.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Smith.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Richard Lenyal Brown; a daughter, April Brown; a son, Richard Shawn Brown; a sister, Deborah Peters; brother-in-law, Donald Lee Brown (Kathy) all of Covington; four grandchildren, Gavin Jackson Clark, Jr., Daniel Lee Clark, Ryan Brown, Sierra Brandymore; a nephew, Ron Smith (Becky); and her special companion, GrayBear.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. No formal services are scheduled.
