Rose Marie Surface

Rose Marie Surface, 83, of Salem, Va., passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Lee Surface; parents, Amos Reese and Laura Bell. 

Rose was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Her hobbies included word search and ceramics.  She was a mother to many nieces, nephews; and caregiver to her parents. 

Rose is survived by her brother, Dailey Reese and wife, Hilda; nephew, Todd Andrew Reynolds; many special nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to Shelia and Ben Early; Darlene Flournary and Laurie Hancock for all your help.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home Salem.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 11 a.m. in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
