Roy Morgan

Roy Morgan Jr, 56, of Martinsville, VA, passed away on March 29, 2024, at his home. He was born on April 30, 1967, in Kingsport, TN, to the late Roy Morgan Sr. and Doris Riggins Morgan.

Roy is survived by his loving wife, Janet Morgan; sons, Roy Morgan III (Emily), and Brandon Dale Morgan (Whitney); granddaughters, Amelia Grace Morgan, and “one on the way”, Jade Emersyn Morgan; nephew, Joseph Taylor; sister-in-law, Janice Taylor; special uncle, Harold Jay Riggins; special cousins, LaWanda Flippin, Devin Page, and Nicholas Page; and special friend, Doug Christman.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter, loved to play cornhole, and loved spending time with his family.

A memorial service will be held on April 14, 2024, at 2:00pm at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chappel. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. The Morgan family is requesting that everyone dress casually, jeans and t-shirts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Martinsville-Henry County, 132 Joseph Martin Hwy., Martinsville, VA 24112.
