Ruby Smith Davis

Ruby Smith Davis, 71, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at her residence. She was born February 22, 1952 in Franklin County, Virginia, to the late Daniel Smith and Rennie Jean Jamison Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, James Allan Smith and George T. Smith.She had been employed by Garma Tech, and enjoyed watching television and going to the mountains. She was especially fond of her cat.Ruby is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Smith, Decarlos Kinds, and Dreama Harrod; son, LaToyin Davis; sister, Polly Phelps; brothers, William Randolph Smith and Robert "RD" Smith; Grandchildren, Demarcus Alexander, Ashleigh Smith, and Kelcee Harrod; several nieces and nephews; and spouse of 45 years, Albert J.
