Rudolph "Junior" Calvert Naff
Rudolph “Junior” Calvert Naff, Jr., 94, of Henry, Virginia, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Franklin Memorial Hospital. He was born December 28, 1930, in Roanoke, Virginia, to the late Rudolph Calvert Naff, Sr. and Lillian Sue Doss Naff. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Adelene Frances Thomas Naff; one son, Warren Lane Naff; one grandson, Calvert Naff; and brothers, Eddie Naff, Clarence Naff, and Freddie Naff.
Rudolph was a devoted member of Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Mill Creek Trio. He found immense joy in farming, gardening, and tending to his cattle, devoting his life to nurturing the farmland and cherishing precious moments with his family.
He is survived by four children, Rudy Naff (Connie), Susan Cook (Tiffany), Mark Naff (Carrie), Tony Naff (Jessica); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Nola Turner, Lorene Hall, Rachel Wood, Viola Pearce, and Judy Prillaman; and two brothers, David Naff and Bobby Naff.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor David Naff officiating. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Mill Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
