Rusty Nicely

Rusty Lyn “Lil Roo” Nicely, of 210 Clearwater Drive, Covington, Virginia passed away at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital on June 11, 2023.
She was born June 9, 2023.
She is preceded in death by a great-grandmother, Nancy Nicely and a grand-father, Dennis “Rusty” Nicely, Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Amber Nicely; eight siblings, Kaidence Nicely, Haiden Nicely, Ava Seams-Nicely, Mandolin Kimberlin-Craft, Jamison Anderson, Ezra Kimberlin, Easton Roberts, and Dalton Roberts; great-grandparents, Dennis and Peggy Nicely, and Robert and Sharon Mason; grandparents, Debbie and Michael Michie; aunts and uncles, Autumn and Donovan Anderson, Shawn and Kelsey Nicely, Dusty Nicely, and numerous other aunts and uncles; cousins, Haley, Raegan, Hunter, Gage, Bryce, Remmy, Ryder, Jersey, Meyer, Jade, Knoah, as well as additional cousins; and a special friend, Richard Jordon.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Nicely Funeral Home followed by a private interment.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations take the form of contribution to Carilion Roanoke Memorial NICU or the Ronald McDonald House.
Amber will be hand delivering donation Monday, June 19, 2023.
The family suggest anyone wanting to donate food for the meal to please drop it off at Epworth United Methodist Church in Selma starting at 1:30 on Thursday.
