Ruth Smelser

Ruth Smelser, age 95, passed away on Saturday, April 21,2025, at Springtree Health & Rehab. She is survived by her children, Diane Smelser, Jeanette Meador (Roger), Joan May, Ritchie Smelser (Vickie), Pam Collins; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lotz Vinton Chapel. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Montvale Baptist Church with Pastor A.C. Hollins and Pastor Melvin Poff officiating. Burial will follow at Montvale Baptist Church Cemetery.
